Elite Fitness Diploma
Overview
Graduates holding the LAUCE’s Elite Fitness Diploma, in collaboration with Sports Academy School (SAS), will have acquired elite sports management and physiology knowledge to direct, develop, and run a training facility.
They will be trained to work with athletes in order to improve their athletic performance, understand essential nutrition concepts, and obtain pivotal sports management skills. Participants will also learn necessary kinesiology, anatomy, and physiology to prevent sports-related injuries.
Content
The diploma program is divided into four main categories: Personal Training, Rehab Specialist, Strength and Conditioning, and Sports Management.
Objectives

Interpret and evaluate specific guidelines for scientific assessment and testing for various fitness components

Describe the variety of training systems used to increase power, strength, and endurance along with teaching different exercise techniques

Outline a strength program based on individual physical differences and personal goals while identifying predominant metabolic pathways in sports

Incorporate an understanding of ethical, legal, and socio-cultural issues in managerial decision-making and policy-making in sports

Employ sound principles of strategic planning, financial management, risk management, and human resource management in the field
